INDIVIDUAL TOURS & ITINERARIES

Every single one of my tours is bespoke but what is common to them all, is a good story. Because that’s what it’s all about isn’t it, stories. And the most important part of the story is you!

Getting to know you, where you’re from and what you want to get out of your trip, will form the basis of our itinerary. An itinerary that I will intertwine with stories of local people… of breath-taking Lake District landscapes… of Cumbria’s fascinating past… and its vibrant, living, working environment of today…

My tours are typically inspired by nature, which means you may find yourself having afternoon tea at an Arts & Crafts house… or in conversation with a local farmer whilst enjoying a cuddle with one of his sheep… your tour can be based totally on local food produce… or set in the footsteps of some of our more famous literary residents… The possibilities are endless and with me, you’ll not only gain a sense of the place but you’ll get to take your very own story home with you.

As I say, every story is unique and that’s what makes this very special for me. I get to take you on an adventure full of what interests you, all set within my favourite place. Your adventure may be a walking tour in the countryside or through one of our historic towns or villages… it may be a driving adventure*… or an adventure based on using public transport (where possible) … However you choose to see the area, I will make it an adventure.
