MY STORY

Every day is an adventure, at least that’s what I told myself when I quit my job in the advertising industry and followed my, not yet, husband across the world to Malaysia. You see, I love travel, always have.

It was this step, this tiny leap of faith that has lead me here today. Guiding visitors through their time in the Lake District and Cumbria

After years of living abroad we moved back to England, to the Lake District in Cumbria, a place neither of us had even visited and a long way from the bright lights of London, both in distance and spirit, how would we get on?

Well I decided to apply the same strategy as I had every time we went to a new destination, so it was like travelling, but right on my own doorstep. Over the next few years I spent time driving, walking, reading and talking my way across the entire region, discovering as much as I could… and it is these discoveries that I want to share with you. Whether it be the best places to view the stunning landscapes of our National Park or the best spot for an afternoon tea, I know the tourist highlights and the off the beaten path gems.

Love Our Adventure is the realisation of my time spent exploring and getting to know this amazing place, but mostly it is about YOUR adventure, what do you want out of your time here and how can I help you get the most out of your experience.
